We first met in 2018 with Peter’s sister as our “matchmaker,” and were married in September 2020. We both grew up in Memphis, TN but moved to Minnesota in 2022, and absolutely love living here!
As of late 2023, we now live in a family-ready three-level-split home in Saint Paul. Our neighborhood is quiet and always has people walking their dogs, chatting in the front yards, or helping each other. Our local parks are always full of families, sports activities, and fun sidewalk chalk. We can’t wait to share this experience with children!
In the summertime, we both enjoy taking our dog, Chester, to the dog park and on walks throughout the neighborhood. In the winter, we enjoy board-game nights and reading a book by our cozy fireplace. We hope to participate in more winter-time activities come this winter like ice fishing and snow tubing.
Why Adoption?
As a result of medical conditions, we are unable to carry a child of our own. We have been aware of this inability for years, and have always desired to have a family of our own. Through adoption, we are able to still fulfill our dreams in life as well as provide a loving, supportive, and comfortable life for our children.
